We thought we would share The Guardians wonderful review of Lindsey Davis’s new book The Ides of April.

Lindsey’s very popular Flavia Albia has quite a following across all our libraries. Come join Lindsey for afternoon tea on Thursday 3 July at Layton Library. Tickets are available from any Blackpool Library or via Eventbrite.

We are running a Duo Deal offer for a combined Sophie Hannah and Lindsey Davis ticket: Buy both tickets for £5 and we will throw in free transport between the two events. This offer included lunch and cream tea.  This offer is only available to buy from your local library.

Lindsay is not to be missed based on my enjoyment of her talk at Warwick Words, the June weekend of their Literary Festival – very good indeed.
